Al Janoob Stadium (Al Wakra) was inspired by the hulls of the traditional Dhow Pearl Fishing Boats, further reflected by the use of timbre and traditional materials. The symmetrical roof composed of three shells is the stand out feature.

Architectural Specialty Custom works has been accomplished by Medtel –W. N. for VIP, VVIP and Hospitality Lounge Area for Al Janoob Stadium along with the supply and application of Polished Plaster in accordance with the Stadium’s and Qatar Construction Specifications under the Joint Venture of the Main Contractor, Midmac Contracting Company WLL – Porr Qatar Construction WLL and Six Construct Qatar Ltd. WLL.
